PROFILE - Tall & skinny with a photographic memory, especially for numbers! Best thing about me is when I’m happy, I show it, worst thing about me is when I’m mad, I show it!
HOBBIES - Bikes first & always! They’ve been a constant feature in my life for over 40 years! Starting out in my dad’s sidecar as a kid, I’ve always loved & lived bikes & I’m now lucky enough to be around bikes every day!
EXPERIENCE - I’ve got ‘City & Guilds’ qualifications in machining, quality control (ISO 9002) & precision finishing in engineering.
Health & safety certificate, Fire safety certificate. Qualified to 16th edition, (BS 7671) in electrical installations, a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers, but that’s just paperwork, my biggest achievement is learning to cook! An award is still pending!!
LIKES - Bikes! People! Beer! Technology! Nobody needed the mobile phone or Internet, but now it’s here, would you want to be without it????
DISLIKES - Bad manners, flat liners, & people who say they’re gonna do something, then don’t
HUMOUR - When I was kitchen fitting I had the job of connecting the ducting up for an extractor unit in a cramped roofspace full of soot.
Steve decided it was a good idea to test it before I’d finished! I emerged doing the World’s best impression of Al Jolson you ever saw
